He materially contributed to understanding of the Deep Web and Dark Web through the DARPA MEMEX project. November 2, 2021: Journalists in Afghanistan and Pakistan: An Update with Ayesha Tanzeen. Ayesha Tanzeem is the Bureau Chief for Pakistan & Afghanistan for Voice of America. She is one of a few foreign correspondents that has traveled to areas under the control and influence of the Islamic State militant group while it was at the peak of its power in eastern Afghanistan in 2015. She will provide us with a first-hand look at the situation journalists -- especially female journalists -- face in Afghanistan.

June 30, 2021: The International Sports Beat. Jessica O'Beirne is the creator and producer of the GymCastic podcast. Her beat is gymnastics and her work can be seen on the Los Angeles Times and Huffington Post. You can see her in HBO's At The Heart of Gold, which explored the environment that protected the sports doctor that assaulted many athletes for many years.

October 26, 2021: The World of Sports with Jere Longman of the New York Times. Jere has written about sexual and psychological abuse of young female athletes in various sports during the span of his career, including fencing and synchronized swimming just this year. He has also written about sports and climate change in the wake of Hurricane Ida and plans to do so again in the near future.
